I don't mean you couldn't get "pro" results out of EZMix - you certainly can - just that it is decidedly less flexible when you get into the nitty gritty of things, while Ozone is as deep as it goes. Not that EZMix is bad - I don't have much experience with it (played around with it on a friend's system) - it just isn't a real "pro" tool, and Ozone is. Just as easy as EZMix, better quality (IMHO, of course), definitely a better long-term investment.
Don't forget that it also has "EZ" controls per module - load up a preset, mess with 3-5 sliders 'til it sounds decent, print. Because you may have rudimentary needs now, but you may know more of what you are doing later, and Ozone is just a better overall tool. Honestly, for the money, I'd say go with Ozone. OP did you get it? What do you think? Anyone know if Ozone or EZmix is better than the "mastering" effects inside Logic 9 or Logic 10?Well, it is certainly "EZ-er"!
